During the first quarter of 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Greece showed varied performance trends, highlighting user preferences and app engagement. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared:

Uber - Request a ride saw a noticeable rise in weekly downloads, starting from about 6.9K at the end of December 2022 and peaking at approximately 5.2K by the end of March 2023. Weekly active users also demonstrated a positive trend, increasing from around 128K to a high of 146K in early March before settling at 137K by the end of the quarter.

For Bolt: Request a Ride, weekly downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around the 1.3K mark throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a slight upward trend, beginning at 10K and peaking at nearly 10K by the end of March.

Beat Passenger: Find your ride experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 2.6K at the end of December and dropping to around 961 by the end of March. Similarly, weekly active users decreased from 3.7K to 1.4K over the same period.

The performance of Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver in terms of weekly downloads showed minor fluctuations, with numbers ranging between 205 and 426. Weekly active users remained relatively steady, from 1.5K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 1.6K by the end.

Lastly, BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had modest weekly download numbers, generally around 200, with a slight increase towards the end of March. Weekly active users showed a gradual rise from 768 at the end of December to 933 by the end of March.
